Our Achievements
Practical action for living savannas
Our actions and their results
Since it was founded, SOS Savane has been working to make our savannas living landscapes, a source of well-being for all. Its teams work in the field alongside local communities, the authorities and its partners.
Biodiversity conservation, restoration of natural savanna habitats, wildlife rescue at the WRCC, monitoring of threatened species, income-generating activities and environmental education: each achievement helps preserve natural resources for the long term.

SOS Savane’s mobile app for vulture conservation
Faaba Yeberekou is a platform that helps improve knowledge of vulture species and of the ways to conserve them. More specifically, the app is used to:
- Inform the community and raise awareness about vulture conservation and the regulations in force.
- Collect data (direct observations, nesting sites, etc.) for vulture conservation.
- Help improve the existing system for reducing the poaching and trafficking of vulture species.
- Send alerts to help reduce the threats facing vultures.
