A centre dedicated to wildlife

The Wildlife Recovery and Conservation Center (WRCC) is a conservation site fully managed by SOS Savane in Tanguiéta, in the Atacora region. It covers 3 hectares and is home to more than 30 protected wildlife species and more than 20 plant species.

The centre's purpose is to conserve flagship and endangered species through ex-situ conservation. It also takes in rescued animals and supports their rehabilitation, as was the case for a young Grimm's duiker.

The site is funded with support from technical and financial partners, as well as income from visits and room hire.
